basf visited sijia to discuss higher-level product cooperation plan

on october 26th, xiong hui, sales director of basf’s team, led sales manager li shihai and technical r&d engineer dr. yu dahai to visit sijia industrial park to discuss the market, application and development prospects of tpu and related products (tpc, tpo, tps, etc.) with sijia technical quality control center, production center and sales team, as well as the improvement of tpu floor and sports floor products, and to discuss deepening tpu industry cooperation.
during the meeting, lin shengxiong, chairman of sijia group, stressed that biodegradability is the current trend of the development of all chemical materials. at present, sijia’s in-depth cooperation with french decathlon and other international customers in the medical and outdoor fields also involves the consideration of customers for the company’s environmental protection and social responsibility. sijia must not only meet the needs of customers, but also assume corresponding social responsibilities and work together to protect and sustain development.
in view of this environmental protection issue, the basf team proposed the recycle recycling concept and bio-based degradation, proposing that bio-based groups can be grafted to tpu to achieve rapid degradation of tpu. at present, basf’s r&d team is conducting bmb degradation certification in an orderly manner, and will carry out environmental cooperation with sijia in this regard in the future.
